UINSA Offering USIS Scholarship for International Students in 2024

The UINSA Scholarship for International Students (USIS) by UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya is presently open for the 2024 batch. The program offers the opportunity for international students globally to pursue a full-time Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate Degree in various study programs.

UINSA is situated on the main boulevard of Surabaya, Jalan Ahmad Yani. It hosts over 16,000 students from all over regions in Indonesia. Surabaya also houses several prominent universities such as the Technology Institute of Surabaya, the State University of Surabaya, and the University of Airlangga.

In addition to Islamic studies, which serves as the flagship discipline, the university also provides non-Islamic study programs such as finance, architecture, communication, information technology, public health, and psychology. This approach aims to balance and integrate religious values with non-Islamic studies, potentially leading to the emergence of new multidisciplinary study genres.

For students passionate about Islamic studies, the university offers a rich atmosphere and environment for Islamic studies, complemented by the proximity of several Islamic historical sites that allow students to explore the development of Islam.

Types of Scholarships

1.     Regular Scholarship

Partial scholarship is provided for international students who are accepted to the USIS 2024.

2.     Achievement Scholarship

Partial scholarship is provided for international students who are accepted to the USIS 2024.

Applicants must provide certificate(s) of academic achievement (national or international) or Tahfidz Al-Quran. For example: 1st winner of a national speech competition in Thailand, etc.
