The Asian Development Bank is accepting applications for this fully funded scholarship for international students to study at the University of Tokyo in Japan for the fall semester of 2025. Students from ADB member countries can apply to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Tokyo through this program. The scholarship covers a fully funded 2-year Master’s Degree Program in various academic fields. Notably, there are no application fees required for the ADB Scholarship 2025.

The ADB Japan Scholarship Program aims to support students in postgraduate studies at the University of Tokyo. Annually, over 300 scholarships are awarded to students. This initiative helps citizens of ADB member countries pursue higher education without financial burden, covering all expenses including flight tickets, tuition fees, and other costs. Eligibility Criteria:

- Must be nationals of an ADB member country.

- Must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.

- Must have superior academic records.

- Must have at least two years of full-time professional working experience after obtaining a university degree.

- Must not be more than 35 years old at the time of application, with exceptions for senior officials and managers up to 45 years old.

- Must return to their home country after program completion.

- Must not have a master’s degree at the time of application. Applicants for a second master’s degree are ineligible.

Application Process:

To apply, visit the "Apply Now" link provided. The process involves checking eligibility, submitting a complete application by the deadline, and having the University of Tokyo verify qualifications. Successful candidates will be nominated and notified by ADB-JSP in May 2025. Applicants should find a supervisor in their field of study before applying but can still apply if they have not contacted any supervisor. Complete the online application form accurately. Once the scholarship is granted, proceed to apply for admission at the University of Tokyo. Recommendation letters must be submitted by email before December 10, 2024. The autumn semester starts on October 1, 2025.
